Hi all,
I'm following this article - https://webhelp.episerver.com/17-1/cms-admin/managing-website-languages.htm - trying to add Russian language and so far everything was clear, but the 3.f point, which states:
"For a correct display, the website start page also needs to be available in the new language. To do this, switch to the newly activated language, go to the start page, select Translate, then publish it."
Since yellow warning stripe ("This content is in English. It does not exist in ... . Would you like to translate it now?") does not appear for me I was switching to newly activated language through "Sites" tab. But when selected Russian, it now shows me yellow warning stripe with the "The selected language is not available. switch to English" message.
I also tried to set Russian on a "Root" and inherit it's settings on a sub-page which requires "Russian" as well, but everytime I check "Inherit settings from the parent page: "Root"" checkbox it gets unchecked and nothing really happens.
So any ideas how do I add "Russian" language? Thanks!
PS.: Everything above happens on my localhost environment, however on our dev env., after switching to "Russian" through "Sites" tab, I'm showed yellow warning stripe offering me to translate current page to Russian, but "Translate" button is disabled. Any ideas what is happening?
