Managing file versions i edit mode

Hi there!

Is there a way of accesing and managing new versions of files from edit mode? There has been an option "Create new version" for files before but it seems to be gone.. We're using CMS 7.7 in the project in question.

I found this link http://webhelp.episerver.com/cms/7.1/en/Content/VersionManagement/IN_FileVersionManagement.htm but I can neither see versioning components in edit mode nor settings i admin mode to turn this feature on.

Does anybody have any thoughts?
